What usually forces a redesign

A site built on a page builder years ago, a listing plugin that has fallen behind updates, a PageSpeed score in the 40s and 50s, or a site that has simply never had an area page added since it launched. These are the same underlying problem: the site was assembled rather than built as one coded system, and it has been quietly getting slower and less maintainable ever since.

What is preserved, and what is rebuilt

Your domain moves over and keeps working, your current and past listings are rebuilt as pages rather than left behind, and any URL that has to change gets a redirect so shared links and existing search rankings are not lost. The layout, the listing display and the technical foundation are all rebuilt from scratch.

  • Your existing domain, pointed at the new site with no interruption
  • Redirects from any URL that changes
  • Current and sold listings rebuilt as pages, not left behind

How the switch actually happens

We build the new site fully before anything goes live, review it with you, and switch the domain over once you approve it, so there is no period where your site is half-migrated or offline.

What you get

  • Domain preserved

Your existing domain, pointed at the new site.

  • Redirects from old URLs

So shared links and search rankings are not lost.

  • Listing history rebuilt

Current and sold listings brought over as real pages.

  • A faster foundation

Custom-coded build in place of a page-builder and plugin stack.

  • Built before it goes live

Reviewed with you first, switched over once you approve it.

Questions about real estate website redesign

Will my current site go offline while the new one is being built?

No. The new site is built in full before anything is switched over, so your current site keeps running until you approve the replacement.

Will I lose my current Google rankings?

We redirect every URL that changes to its new equivalent, which is the standard way to preserve rankings through a redesign. Some fluctuation during the transition is normal and typically settles within a few weeks.

Can you bring over listings from my current site even if it is on a different platform?

Yes. Send us the content and photos during onboarding, from whatever platform they currently live on, and we rebuild them as pages on the new site.

Does a redesign cost more than a new site?

No. The pricing is the same three plans, whether this is your first website or your fourth. The build fee is invoiced only after the new site is live and approved.
