A real estate marketing agency GetRealtorWebsite
A real estate marketing agency or a managed website: a retainer for everything, or the website done properly.
A real estate marketing agency usually sells a broad retainer: branding, ad campaigns, social media and often a website as part of the package. That makes sense for an agent or team who wants one partner for everything. If what you need is a fast, structured website that ranks for your areas, catches leads and stays current, a managed website service covers that for a flat monthly fee, and can sit alongside any agency you already use.
What this comparison is really about
Scope is the real difference
Agencies vary enormously, from specialist real estate shops to generalists, and the good ones earn their fee. The question is what you need. If the website is one line in a larger retainer, it can end up as the part nobody updates. If the website is the whole service, it gets the attention.
A real estate marketing agency and GetRealtorWebsite, factor by factor
Twelve things that decide how an agent website performs and who carries the work. Where we describe A real estate marketing agency, we keep to what is generally true or what the provider states itself.
| Factor | A real estate marketing agency | GetRealtorWebsite |
|---|---|---|
| Speed and Core Web Vitals | Depends on who builds the site and how. | 90+ Google PageSpeed on every page, guaranteed in the terms; we fix any page that drops below it because of our work. |
| SEO control | Often included, scope varies by agency. | Done for you: titles, descriptions, headings, canonicals and one page per area you serve. |
| Schema and JSON-LD | Varies by agency. | JSON-LD matched to each page (business, service, FAQ, breadcrumbs), added and maintained by us. |
| AEO and GEO readiness | Varies; newer practice at many agencies. | Answer-first copy, visible FAQ blocks, an llms.txt file and consistent entity data on every site. |
| Hosting and security | Sometimes included, sometimes separate. | Cloudflare edge hosting with SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth, inside the monthly fee. |
| Maintenance burden | Usually inside the retainer, subject to its scope. | None for you. Updates, security and hosting are on our side. |
| Who does the work | An account team. | We build it, then make every change you request: 5 revisions a month, done within 2 to 5 working days. |
| Content and blog | Often included, scope varies. | Researched, cited articles every week on every plan (2 a week, 3 on The Portfolio). |
| Design quality | Usually custom. | A custom-coded, type-led design built around your name and your areas, checked on a phone before launch. |
| Accessibility and compliance pages | Depends on the agency. | Privacy, terms and cookie pages, consent that gates scripts, an Equal Housing notice and an accessibility-minded build. |
| Cost model | A monthly retainer, often with a minimum term. | One flat monthly fee from $137, plus a $797 build fee invoiced only after you approve the live site. |
| Lock-in and ownership | Depends on the contract; check who owns the site and domain. | Your domain is registered in your name. On exit we transfer it free and export your content within 14 days. |

From an agent who switched
“We had three half-finished agent sites. Now there is one, each agent has a real page, and an inquiry goes to the right person instead of a shared inbox that nobody owned.”

Questions about A real estate marketing agency and GetRealtorWebsite
Is a real estate marketing agency better than a website service?
Neither is better in general. An agency is right when you want one partner for ads, brand and content. A managed website service is right when the website is what you need, done properly, for a flat fee.
Can I use you and my agency at the same time?
Yes. We build and run the website; your agency can run ads and social pointing at it. We connect the site's forms to whichever CRM you both use.
Do you run Google or Facebook ads?
No. These plans cover the website and, on higher plans, AI lead handling, social posts, reels and your Google Business Profile. Ad campaigns stay with you or your agency.
How do your prices compare with an agency retainer?
Our pricing is published: $137, $297 plus AI usage, or $747 a month, plus a $797 build fee after launch. Agency retainers vary widely, so compare scopes rather than totals.
Is there a long contract?
No minimum term. You can cancel by email with at least 2 business days notice before your next invoice date. All sales are final, so the notice period matters.
Who owns the website if I leave?
Your domain is registered in your name and transferred free; your content and articles are exported within 14 days. With any agency, check the contract for who owns the site and domain.
Does a faster website really help my agency's ads?
It can. Google says landing page experience is part of how it judges ad quality, and that higher-quality ads can often lead to lower costs per click. A fast, relevant page also keeps more of the paid visitors from leaving before it loads. We do not promise a specific cost change.
What does your team actually do each month?
Make the changes you request (5 a month included), publish researched articles every week, keep hosting and security current, and, on higher plans, run the AI and content features.
